"I created Goanna Academy to help break the stigma around mental health through honest conversations and connection. We don't just share stories - we strive to create change. No one should suffer alone or in silence."
Founded by NRL legend Greg Inglis, the Academy is dedicated to helping all Australians feel seen, supported, and empowered to seek help.
We deliver Australia's first Indigenous-owned preventative mental health programs, quality-assured by the NSW Department of Education and endorsed by Headspace.
We create safe spaces that encourage early conversations around mental health, connection and wellbeing. Through lived experience, our programs focus on building resilience, strengthening support networks and empowering individuals with the tools and confidence to navigate life's challenges and opportunities.
Empowering change through curriculum-aligned programs like MindED.
Providing tools for greater impact in schools, workplaces, and communities.
Breaking stigmas by sharing stories that help others feel seen.
As Goanna Academy continues to expand nationally, our focus remains on ensuring young people, regional communities and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples have access to preventative mental health education and support - no matter where they live. Through school education, community-led programs, trusted partnerships and lived experience, we are building stronger, more connected communities across Australia.
Whether through partnership, advocacy or support, your involvement helps Goanna Academy create lasting impact in communities across Australia.

Goanna Academy acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of the lands, waters and sky across Australia on which we live, learn and work. We pay our deepest respects to Elders past and present and honour the strength, resilience and wisdom of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
We recognise that Country is more than a place—it is identity, belonging, connection and healing. We acknowledge the enduring relationship that First Nations peoples have with Country, culture, language and community, and the vital role these connections play in supporting social and emotional wellbeing.
Through everything we do, we honour the knowledge of our Ancestors, celebrate the strength of our communities and remain committed to empowering future generations to thrive with pride, purpose and connection.
